About the

AMR&S Working Group

The Antimicrobial Resistance & Stewardship (AMR&S) Working Group is dedicated to advancing education and research on antimicrobial resistance in Asia.

The Working Group was founded in 2017 and consists of a group of infectious disease and microbiology doctors, pharmacists and researchers from across Asia.

Vision

To work together across disciplines and territories to enhance awareness, understanding and implementation of meaningful, quality interventions against antimicrobial resistance that are sustainable and achievable in a region characterized by socioeconomic, geographic and microbial diversity.

Mission

Advance education and research in antimicrobial resistance and stewardship across Asia to support the implementation of impactful interventions tailored to the needs of specific territories and institutions to improve patient outcomes, manage antimicrobial resources and reduce microbial resistance.
